That night I dreamed of my Uncle Larry who passed away in 2003 from pancreatic cancer. In the dream my brothers and I were just hanging out and Uncle Larry walked in. He wasn’t sick and weak with discolored skin. He was perfect. Young. Happy. We were comforted.
The next morning on the way to work I was thinking about this dream and was reminded of what Pastor Aaron and Teresa said about death and healing. I realized that maybe God was reassuring me that Uncle Larry received his healing. His passing really hit my whole family very hard. We prayed for healing and it was very hard to accept that he died. It makes more sense to me now that although it wasn’t on our terms, Uncle Larry is healed.

Very cool way of thinking about it.
The way God answers our prayers isn’t always on our terms. This is very comforting and beautiful…
what an amazing story! I love that God spoke to you in such a special and specific way. It takes a lot of maturity to understand the idea of perfect healing being in death and only in heaven. it is a tough thing for many people since it includes loosing the person being here with us. It really takes love for the person- wanting them to be free and healed.
i also love how God heals us in His timing. it’s almost 5 years later and God is still moving in this situation. touching the areas that still hurt.
ps – It’s weird, but I feel inspired by your uncle Larry. I never had the privledge of meeting him, but the way you and Jonas speak of him is really encouraging.
He is awesome.
And if anyone wants to know a little more about my Uncle Larry and Aunt Pam, talk to Jonas. It’s an amazing story.
