A story from today…
Just a quick update on my friday.
No, I didn’t get into the studio today.
Yes, I have a song ready to lay down.
No, I didn’t just sit around all day.
I actually got up fairly early and headed over to my Pop’s house to install their new over-counter microwave. That was quite the adventure. But we got it installed. Then my Pop and I headed up north to Taco Johns / Steak Escape where I enjoyed 4 tacos and 1/2 pound of Potato Ole’s and Pop ate a 7″ cheesesteak with everything and loaded chili-bacon-cheese fries. It was awesome. We don’t get up north to go to Taco Johns very often so this was special. After filling up on tacos and beefsteak we headed out to Westminster to pick up a couch JudiFree had purchased on Cragslist. The couch was huge but, alas, we endured! We crammed it into my little truck. Although I’m pretty sure my truck blew a rear shock on the drive back. Did you ever notice how much bigger a couch is when you actually get it home and put it in your living room?
CONFESSION: Judi and I just took our Christmas decorations down today. We are kinda notorious for leaving them up into February each year. We don’t however put any up on the outside of the house ever, just inside. And with new furniture coming into the house we had to get that Christmas decor down! Whew, I’m glad I got that off my chest.
Anyway, all that just to say that I’m going to make an attempt to get over to the studio tomorrow to record this song. If all goes well it will ready in time for the Sunday Showcase over at Our Creative Community. Pray for me!
